A$450.00

This beautiful Victorian bangle is 140 years old!

It is solid sterling silver and features a hand engraved flower and leaf design with some inlayed in yellow and rose gold. The bangle was made in Birmingham in 1884 and bears these hallmarks plus the makers mark of J.B s for Jackson Brothers who were manufacturing jewellers in Great Hampton Street, Birmingham in the late 1880s.

The bangle is very well made. The hinge is strong and in good working order and the clasp is wide and clicks securely shut. The piece measures approximately 2.5cms wide with a circumference of around 17cms so it will fit a medium to large wrist. The front of the bracelet is in perfect, antique condition and the back has 3 dents which we have captured in the pictures.

This beautiful piece weighs 32.68 grams and bears the lion mark for sterling silver.

One can't help but imagine where this piece of antiquity has been and who were fortunate enough to wear it.
