This Cameo is really something special.

It is hand carved Sardonyx Shell (Conch shell) and depicts a young lady, dancing through a garden to the sound of a harp and the trickle of a water fountain. I think it is quite magical and I’ve never seen another like it.

The setting is 14ct yellow gold which is hand crafted to follow the curved lines of the natural shell. It also boasts a gold pin and safety chain.

This is a large brooch measuring approximately 6cms x 4.5cms. Circa 1950s.
