This set of buttons are circa early 1900 and are from Limoge in France. Limoge is renowned for decorative porcelain manufacture dating back centuries.

The buttons are in excellent, antique condition with only one, tiny chip to the underneath of one button which you can see in the photos. People who are collectors often display their buttons on lengths of velvet ribbon. The craft ideas are endless.

We happened to have an antique box that really displays the buttons, however, it comes from Leeds in England, not France! It will be included in the sale.

Measurements:

The small buttons measure 2.7cms in diametre and the large buttons measure 3.2cms across.
