This beautifully antique necklace was discovered in Italy and dates back to the early 1900s. It features a striking strand of creamy, natural coral beads graduating in size from approximately 6mm to 13mm and culminating with a hand-carved coral rose clasp.
The finely detailed floral clasp serves as both a functional fastener and a decorative focal point, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of the period. Mounted in continental silver and stamped 800, the clasp reflects the quality commonly found in European jewellery of the early 1900s.
This necklace measures approximately 66cm in length and weighs 76.70 grams. The soft ivory tones of the coral create a superb look that can only be achieved by antique natural coral.
